Tokyo Motor Show 2007

tokyo motor show 2007"Piccole vetture per un grande futuro" è questo lo slogan dello stand Suzuki al Tokyo Motor Show, in programma dal 27 Ottobre all'11 Novembre, presso la fiera di Makuhari (Nippon Convention Center) nella prefettura di Chiba. Sarà un'anticipazione di come la casa nipponica prevede il futuro per le auto compatte. Ecco quindi una carrella su quello che la Suzuki esporrà al salone.

Iniziamo con la Concept Kizashi 2, nata sulla scia della prima versione presentata in occasione del salone di Francoforte. Si tratta di una crossover dal carattere sportivo spinta da un propulsore 6 cilindri a V di 3,6 litri. Il motore della massima cilindrata mai utilizzato dalla casa è abbinato ad un cambio automatico a sei velocità in grado di offrire una vigorosa accelerazione e che potrebbe essere oggetto dell'impiego di tecnologie ibride.

Suzuki promuove poi un nuovo concetto di veicolo ad hoc sulla persona denominato "Mobilità Sostenibile", che viene realizzato grazie ad un piccolo veicolo monoposto a bassa velocità chiamato Pixy e ad un modulo ispirato al concetto di miniauto chiamato Ssc, che diventa un'automobile quando viene abbinato a Pixy. Insieme rappresentano un mezzo di trasporto urbano in linea con l'iniziativa sui carburanti e sui veicoli della prossima generazione lanciata dal Ministero Giapponese dell'Economia, del Commercio e dell'Industria con l'intento di realizzare la società motorizzata maggiormente centrata sulla persona.

tokyo motor show 2007Pixy è un veicolo monoposto facile e divertente basato sul concetto di mobilità "amica". Spostandosi a bassa velocità su marciapiedi e all'interno di edifici, è semplice da azionare anche da parte di persone che non sono in grado di guidare le auto tradizionali. Il modulo Ssc è basato sul concetto di miniauto al quale viene abbinato Pixy per formare un'automobile. Inoltre, per soddisfare esigenze diverse, può essere abbinato anche al modulo Ssf per creare un'auto sportiva o al modulo marino Ssj per diventareuna piccola imbarcazione.

X-Head è invece un cross-utility che offre nuove possibilità offrendo prestazioni da fuoristrada comuni ai modelli Jimmy e Grand Vitara e le capacità di carico del Carry. Anche in questo caso si tratta di un veicolo modulare con unità intercambiabili e che può trasformarsi, grazie alle varie unità come la Camper che consente a due persone di dormire comodamente a bordo, o Fashion che permette una mobilità urbana elegante oppure Rescue progettata per operazioni di soccorso in diverse condizioni stradali.

Con la Palette, minicar dedicata ai genitori con figli piccoli e ai giovani che vogliono divertirsi con gli amici, troviamo uno stile accattivante abbinato a un abitacolo abbastanza spazioso per quattro persone, e alto livello di confort grazie alle porte scorrevoli e a una superficie piatta e bassa.

Non mancherà nemmeno la parte sportiva del marchio con la Sx4 Wrc 2007, pronta per il debutto al Rally di Francia dove farà la sua prima corsa in condizioni di gara reali e poi parteciperà al Rally del Galles GB, l'ultimo test per Suzuki prima dell'inizio de Campionato del mondo di rally 2008.

Infine sarà esposta la Mio, una sedia a rotelle elettrica alimentata da celle combustibili che Suzuki ha presentato per la prima volta alla International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition. Al Tokyo Motor Show sarà presente un modello con una performance migliorata delle celle combustibili ed un design più elegante.
