TOKYO, 24 DIC 2008 - Il governo giapponese ha approvato una legge di bilancio record da 88.548 mld di yen (720 miliardi di euro) per l'esercizio 2009-2010. Il provvedimento dovra' finanziare i piani di rilancio destinati a far uscire la 2/a economia mondiale dalla recessione. Il budget, varato dal Consiglio dei ministri, sara' esaminato dal Parlamento a gennaio e si applica all'anno fiscale che parte dal 1 aprile.Si tratta del budget piu' elevato della storia del Giappone,supera del 6,6% quello del 2008-2009.

ImageTokyo, 9 dic  - Nascondere informazioni all'interno di un video: invisibili per l'occhio umano e impossibili da eliminare. Non si tratta di una trovata da 007, ma del modo in cui viene presentata l'ultima tecnica sviluppata dai creatori di contenuti per combattere la pirateria audiovisiva. L'hanno annunciata in Giappone l'emittente pubblica NHK e Mitsubishi, nel tentativo di replicare per il video quanto Microsoft ha già in programma per l'audio.

Non si conoscono i dettagli di questa nuova tecnologia: le uniche informazioni disponibili riguardano quale tipo di pirateria le due aziende intendono combattere. A finire nel mirino ci sono gli spettatori col vizietto di portarsi la videocamera al cinema: d'ora in avanti, se proveranno a registrare un film e riproporlo su Internet, i legittimi proprietari dei contenuti saranno in grado di risalire al luogo e al momento in cui è stata effettuata la copia illegale.

Nel video, infatti, sarà presente una sorta di watermark che permetterà di individuare in qual cinema e durante quale spettacolo sia stata effettuata la ripresa. Nessuna informazione sugli spettatori, sempre che qualcuno non decida di volerli identificare prima di entrare in sala, ma solo una indicazione precisa sul dove e sul quando. Per gli sviluppatori, questa firma nascosta sarebbe assolutamente irrintracciabile e impossibile da rimuovere: tagli, conversioni, riconversioni e qualunque altra trovata non serviranno a molto.

Forse NHK e Mitsubishi vogliono provare a mettere il sale sulla coda a quei proiezionisti disonesti che, dal loro punto di vista privilegiato sulla sala, registrano e mettono online i film in prima visione. Oppure si tratta di una pensata per mettere contro gestori e clienti? In ogni caso, per le sale beccate con le mani nella marmellata si prospettano tempi duri: senza blockbuster in cartellone, difficile far quadrare i conti.
