Battezzata 'Muscle Suit', la nuova 'tuta muscolare' made in Japan e' in grado di aiutare chi la indossa a sollevare senza fatica fino a 50 chilogrammi di peso, grazie ai suoi particolari muscoli artificiali di gomma che si flettono ad aria compressa. Il prototipo e' stato sviluppato dalla rinomata universita' delle scienze di Tokyo.

Giappone: ex modella superministro entusiasma teenager

Piu' che un comizio, il concerto di una rockstar. All'ultimo incontro con gli elettori, sul tettuccio del minivan, Renho, ex modella di 42 anni nippo-taiwanese, mamma di due gemelli e superministro giapponese alla 'rivitalizzazione del governo', e' stata accolta da un'autentica standing ovation. A Shibuya, quartiere centrale di Tokyo che non conosce soste, venerdi' scorso erano i teenager ad avere occupato la prima fila e a salutare la 'loro' star, piu' applaudita del potente segretario di gabinetto,
Yoshito Sengoku.
 
Il partito Democratico nipponico ha accusato una pesante sconfitta al voto di domenica per il rinnovo del Senato perdendo la maggioranza, ma la corsa di Renho (usa il suo nome che e' piu' facile da ricordare), e' sembrata inarrestabile. Telegenica e profonda conoscitrice della 'comunicazione con il piccolo schermo', e' stata la piu' suffragata con un bottino di 1,7 milioni di voti, unica tra i candidati a superare il tetto di un milione, grazie al lavoro di centinaia di giovani volontari che con grande entusiasmo, indossando una maglietta rossa su cui era disegnato il suo profilo in nero, hanno battuto a tappeto il collegio elettorale di Tokyo.
 
In base agli ultimi sondaggi, e' il ministro con ''il piu' alto gradimento'', tanto da 'strigliare' i colleghi democratici per ''evitare divisioni e processi'' post-sconfitta, e anche l'esempio di donna nipponica quanto di piu' distante dalla figura tradizionale tutta casa e famiglia. Spiazza un paese ancora con una solida impronta maschilista, ma piace. Il suo exploit e' il piu' eclatante di una serie di primati femminili in Giappone registrati nell'ultimo mese: la Bank of Japan, per la prima volta in 128 anni di storia, ha nominato a capo di una delle sue filiali regionali una donna; la Japan Airlines ha annunciato la sua prima capitano-pilota; East Japan Railway ha dato la gestione di due stazioni ferroviarie dell' area di Tokyo a due giovani capistazione con meno di 40 anni. Sviluppi che suggerirebbero un'ondata 'rosa' sul Paese, se non si scontrassero con la sintesi delle statistiche: uno studio del World Economic Forum dello scorso anno, sui progressi nel colmare il divario tra i sessi in settori come politica, salute, istruzione ed economia, ha piazzato Tokyo al 101/mo posto su 134 paesi. L'ultimo rapporto Ocse, su 21 nazioni, ha posizionato il Sol Levante al secondo peggior indice per disparita', con le donne che pur avendo stesse mansioni hanno un salario inferiore del 33% rispetto agli uomini.
 
Tre quarti delle donne lavoratrici giapponesi lasciano l'impiego alla nascita di un figlio, quasi sempre senza piu' fare ritorno nel mercato del lavoro. Segnali di una nuova era? ''Direi proprio di no'', ha notato Nobuko Matsubara, ex ambasciatrice in Italia e prima donna nella storia del Giappone a ricoprire la carica di segretario generale di un ministro, nel suo caso del Lavoro. ''Anche dieci anni fa sembrava cosi' e pensavamo alla stessa maniera - ha osservato parlando con l'Ansa -. Le cose, ne sono sicura, andranno piu' a rilento. I tempi non sono ancora maturi''.
